Community Groups are weekly meetings where folks get together to discuss the previous Sunday’s message, given by one of our Elders. The discussion will be a deeper study into the topic of the message, leading to life-application as one of the main goals. Groups are normally 10 to 15 people in size, meeting in homes on various nights of the week. Childcare decisions are made by each group on their own.
Our groups meet for 4, 10-week sessions each calendar year – with a break in the Summer months of June, July, and August. The groups are lead by facilitators, using questions provided by the Elder who is giving the message the previous Sunday. For that 10-week session, the groups will be “closed” to new members to facilitate more meaningful sharing and connection between the members.
If you’d like to sign up for a Community Group, they are open to anyone who attends Community Church on a regular basis, but can only be joined at the beginning of each session.
